Your gentleness makes me shy,
And deaf to people's mocking cry.
Entangles my heart with longing,
And bliss of this encountering.
On the mountain the trees grow and on the trees the branches grow,
In my heart the love grows. However you would not know.
**In the ancient poem, the foreigner was a prince of the country Er, the singer was from the country Yue. The singer fell in love with the foreign prince in a romantic encounter on the boat. But they not only had the disparity on social status but also spoke different languages. Therefore, the singer expressed the hopeless love in Yue’s language in this song.
